Zebra incorporated extensive customer feedback, as well as the legacy of its Stripe and S4M printers, to create the new ZT230 series printers, which feature elegant space-saving design, effortless setup, intuitive user operation, and ease of service and maintenance.

The Zebra ZT230 Thermal Label Printer, part of the ZT200 Series of Zebra printers, is an affordable and durable industrial printer option with an elegant space saving design. The ZT230 is similar in design to the ZT220, but has a rugged all-metal case as opposed to a polymer case.

The ZT230, considered as the replacement for the legacy S4M, prints direct thermal or optional thermal transfer labels and can print any type of bar code, ranging from UPC to 2-dimensional Codablock (2D bar code) and GS1.
